Transforming a 1950's Family Home with Modern Flair

This charming 1950s family house underwent a comprehensive renovation, including the addition of a compact south-facing green-roofed extension. We provided comprehensive architectural services, including planning, Building Control approvals, construction drawings, specifications, and on-site supervision to ensure the highest quality of finish.

The renovation transformed the house from outdated to modern, with a reworked ground floor plan that created a cohesive and functionally efficient layout. The extension and green roof complemented this modern aesthetic, taking advantage of the south-facing aspect to offer stunning views of the surrounding woodland.

We created the detailed designs and specification for the kitchen and bathrooms, creating fresh and modern interior spaces throughout the house. The attention to detail extended to the green roof, which is now being monitored by RHS Wisley Gardens for the diverse plant and animal life that it supports, including rare insect species.

This project exemplifies our commitment to delivering high-quality architectural solutions that enhance the functionality and aesthetic appeal of homes, while also fostering a connection to the natural world.
