The brief, to create a space for entertaining.
The clients have lived in their home for a while, but felt the layout of the rear of the house did not suit their needs. They were looking to open up the space and think again about the layout.
We relocated the kitchen to give a better layout, more worktop and storage space. This freed up the rest of the floor area for dining space. We enlarged the windows, added new rear doors overlooking the garden.
The flooring was renewed throughout the ground floor, giving a continuous feeling of quality and tying all the spaces together. Overall, a subtle and elegant update for an already beautiful Edwardian Bath home.
