Bradford-on-Avon Garden Room come Kitchen

The brief was to create a space to enjoy morning coffee looking out over the garden.
This is the result, a garden room come kitchen, carrying through the grandeur of the original Edwardian House.

The client’s have an absorbing love of gardening as well as a large collection of houseplants. We wanted this to become a part of the new extension space. Raised planters around the exterior of the extension provided a place to showcase ferns, while inside, low window sills provide the backdrop to more plants.

There is something of the traditional orangery with the high ceilings and tall windows and black crittall glazing.
Plus a new fabulous kitchen, larder and utility room have been snuck in to make the best use of the floorplan while modernising the home.

A new island unit and breakfast bar creates a space to talk while cooking, plus chairs in the morning sun give that perfect coffee spot.
